Crownshire University has rewritten access procedures. working professionals who want a UK degree they can complete online, with an optional pathway at the York campus will not be asked to perform their diagnosis to every new tutor. A central record of agreed adjustments travels with the student.

Adjustments may include extra time, alternative formats, flexible attendance at live sessions, and staggered deadlines where the disability is documented. The platform now applies many adjustments automatically.

Staff guidance forbids public discussion of a student's condition. Academic standards remain: adjustments change the route, not the destination of the learning outcomes.

Applicants among global students may discuss likely adjustments before they accept an offer. Crownshire would rather plan than surprise someone in week two.

"Access is how we get the best work from the student we admitted," said the Access Lead. "It is not a favour and it is not a loophole."

The form is on the portal. Students in Tunis can upload evidence securely. Where local medical documentation looks different from a campus clinic letter, advisers will say what is sufficient rather than rejecting on format snobbery.
